June 17—Adam Eaton has been placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to June 15, with a strained right hamstring. According to Manager Tony La Russa, Eaton has been plagued with “leg miseries” all season.
June 10—Nick Madrigal was placed on the 60-Day injured list with a proximal tear of the right hamstring sustained during yesterday’s game against the Blue Jays. The injury may be season-ending and may require surgery. Of the three tendons that connect at the top of hamstring, one is torn completely and a second is partially torn.
Injury – Nick Madrigal is helped off the field and leaves the game in the 7th, after an apparent injury sustained while trying to beat out the play on a slow grounder to third.

In the 5th, Lynn retires 3 but lets an Austin Hedges solo HR through —2 SO, 2 BB, 4 H, 3 ER on the day. Reliever-starter Michael Kopech serves up a solid 3 innings (3 SO, 0 BB, 1 H, 0 R), lowering his ERA to 1.45. Aaron Bummer closes out the 9th, striking out 2 and fielding a soft GO for the win.
